First Imaginary Ace!!!

Post  natmance on Sat May 07, 2011 6:33 pm

I was playing hole 13 at Mesker with my movie star celebrity friends (from Canada, so you probably haven't heard of them.) I threw a backhand roller towards that first, skinny tree. The disc rolled up the trunk and became embedded in the body of a squirrel. The squirrel freaked out and took off up the hill. At that time, a dude in sunglasses was out walking his dog without a leash. The dog had just finished defecating all over the tee pad for hole 14 when he spotted, and proceeded to chase the squirrel. The squirrel was clever and headed towards the basket. When he reached the basket, he proceeded to run laps around the pole...a cunning maneuver, if I do say so myself. The dog didn't know what to do, but the squirrel had grown quite weary from the loss of blood. He eventually collapsed, and the dog had its prize...along with my disc. The guy in sunglasses had caught up to the dog by this point. I told him I'd give him a buck if he'd take the disc and put it in the basket. The man declined the offer, keeping his integrity to the sport of disc golf intact. He then forcefully threw the disc to the ground. Upon impact, the disc came made contact with the rim of a rubber that had been recently thrown from a passing van. The disc bounced into basket, for the first ever ace on 13!

Sorry to burst your bubble but if some one else interacts with your disc , according to the rules it must be placed back where the original lie would have ended which would have been in the skinny tree. But you get +1 for just talking bullish. T.
I appreciate you Matt and I hope we can get an AceEagle Club sponsored High school team to participate in the state championships. Peace.

Would the squirrel and dog be treated the same as a pine cone or a tree branch? Does "someone" have to be a human?

If a dog moves your disc, it should be placed back to the original lie. Group decision. Also if your disc is flying out of bounds and hits a person and goes back inbounds. It is considered ob and must be spotted where it went ob
