Skip ace on Mesker's hole 16

Post  parbuster54 on Thu Mar 05, 2009 11:56 pm

Went out about 5 PM today to get in a few holes before dark. Caught up to my son and his wife on hole 16. Popped the beast down the middle. It made its left turned right in front of the basket and skipped in. We went nuts. Great night for disc golf.

That is awesome! Great hole for a ace. I like the Beast on that hole as well,I can just picture the shot in my head. When it glides through those trees going right then when it gets down near the pin,it fades back left and then skips....never had one go in though. Was it a champion beast? Just curious because of the skip. Yeah, good day

Thanks

Post  parbuster54 on Sun Mar 08, 2009 12:40 pm

Thanks guys. It was one of those random good throws I can occassionally make that got lucky. John, it was my 6th. Thanks for asking.
My wife, David, Kendra and I made a Bowling Green run Saturday. We played White, Chealey Beate (spelling ?), Franklin, and Basil Griffin. We shopped a little at Nats and Gander Mountain (disk shopping) then went to Wah Bah's for supper. We turned on the lights out back after eating and putted on some of the baskets they have out back for a while. Nice weather, good time, lots of fun.

I have a picture

David took a pic and I videoed me walking and talking most of the way down to the basket. It sounds rather silly now but I was excited at the time. Great disc golf moment to remember. Thanks.
